Man Sentenced in Murder of 65-year-old Casa Grande Woman

(FLORENCE, AZ) - A 26-year-old man has been sentenced to natural life in the Arizona Department of Corrections in the murder of a 65-year-old woman in Casa Grande.

On September 1st, Pinal County Superior Court Judge Steven Fuller sentenced Angel Noland Jr., 26, to natural life in the Arizona Department of Corrections.

In July, a jury found Noland guilty of First Degree Murder, a class one felony and Unlawful Use of Means of Transportation, a class 5 felony.

In August 2019, Casa Grande Police investigated the murder of a 65-year-old woman found stabbed multiple times inside her home. According to court documents, investigators identified Noland as the person seen on surveillance video with the victim at a hardware store the day before. Investigators also saw him in the same clothing on different surveillance video abandoning the victim’s car and throwing the keys into an alley.
