PCAO employs about 140 prosecutors, legal, and support staff. Our prosecutorial offices are broken down into multiple bureaus, which include Trial, Drug, Major Crimes, and Juvenile/ Appeals and Misdemeanors. Our prosecutors handle more than 2500 felony cases per year.
PCAO Citizens Academy is designed to give you a behind the scenes look at a case, from a suspect’s initial arrest and booking into Pinal County Detention Center, to their sentencing or acquittal. You will be able to tour the county jail, attend an actual court case, and get hands-on experiences while learning about the charging process.
