Casa Grande man sentenced to more than seven years for shooting at vehicles

(FLORENCE, AZ) - A Casa Grande man has been sentenced to more than seven years in prison for shooting at multiple vehicles.

On October 16^th, 2023, Pinal County Superior Court Judge Jason Holmberg sentenced Eathen Rodriguez, 31, to seven and a half years in the Arizona Department of Corrections.

Rodriguez pled guilty to Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, a Class Three Dangerous Felony.

In April 2023, the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office responded to multiple 911 calls of a man shooting at multiple vehicles, striking two, in the area of the 12000 block of S. Lamb Road in Arizona City. Responding deputies located the suspect hiding in bushes and attempting to avoid law enforcement contact. Rodriguez was identified as the suspect, and deputies located a firearm a few feet away.
