New Podcast Episode Focuses on How Diversion Program Helps Make Pinal County Safer

(FLORENCE, AZ) - Statistics show Pinal County is the safest large county in Arizona, and the nationally recognized PCAO Diversion Program is one piece to the puzzle.

In our newest podcast episode, County Attorney Volkmer is joined by Teresa Fuller, the Re-entry Services Director with the Pinal County Sheriff's Office, and Nicole Buccellato, the PCAO Diversion Manager, to discuss which defendants are (and aren't!) eligible for the program, what it takes to successfully complete it and how it is improving safety throughout our communities.

"The reality is if they can complete this program, the likelihood of them coming back into the criminal justice system is very small," said County Attorney Kent Volkmer. "You just want people to follow the law, and this program helps."
