Casa Grande man sentenced to more than a decade in prison for sexual assault of a juvenile

(FLORENCE, AZ) - A Casa Grande man has been sentenced to more than a decade in prison for sexual assault of a juvenile.

On March 8th, 2023, Pinal County Superior Court Judge Daniel Washburn sentenced Enrique Garza, 39, to 12 years in the Arizona Department of Corrections.

Garza pled guilty to Sexual Assault, a Class Two Felony and Attempted Sexual Assault, a Class Three Felony.

In 2022, a juvenile disclosed during a forensic interview that Garza had illicit sexual contact with her. The juvenile underwent a sexual assault examination, which revealed she had sustained injury. As part of the investigation, Garza's DNA was found on the victim.
